The Wisconsin Family Health Survey is a statewide random-sample telephone survey of all household residents, including children. This survey includes topics such as health insurance coverage, health status, health problems, and use of health care services.

Recent reports have focused on health insurance coverage topics. The Wisconsin Family Health Survey (FHS) collects information about health status, health-related physical activity limitations, chronic conditions, use of health care services and health insurance coverage among Wisconsin residents.

This survey was started in and has been conducted annually since that time.
